Dental Extraction

Dental Extraction is the removal of the tooth from its socket in the mouth. This can be simple or surgically done.

There are certain conditions where a tooth needs to be extracted. One of which is when the teeth are rotten and cannot be repaired. Extraction in this case prevents infection . Damaged teeth brought about by injuries and gum diseases that affects the tissues and sockets in the gum that hold the teeth in place making it to become loose. For Orthodontic purposes as well, Extraction is sometimes required to create spaces and prevent overcrowding.

Prior Extraction, an x-ray is always required to evaluate the alignment, position and condition of the teeth under the gums.
